(Seoul, April 2, 2026) RaonSecure is accelerating its move to lead the Agentic AI-based security automation market in partnership with Upstage, a leading AI company.
RaonSecure (Co-CEOs Soonhyung Lee and Junga Lee, 042510), an AI security and authentication platform provider, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Upstage (CEO Sung Hoon Kim) to jointly develop and commercialize Agentic AI-based security automation.
This agreement represents a strategic initiative to jointly build a digital trust infrastructure for the Agentic AI era. By combining RaonSecure’s security and authentication expertise with Upstage’s large language model (LLM) technology, the two companies aim to secure leadership in the emerging Agentic AI security market.
■ Launch of LLM-Powered Security Automation Platform Within the Year
The two companies plan to introduce an “Agentic AI-based security automation platform” within this year, enabling AI to autonomously operate enterprise-wide security. Beyond simple task automation, the key objective is to fundamentally transform enterprise security operations into an AI-centric model.
While traditional security solutions respond to threats based on predefined rules, this platform is designed to understand security contexts, make autonomous decisions, and execute policy-driven responses accordingly—effectively functioning as an “AI security operator.”
In contrast to conventional automation, which relies on human administrators for final decisions and responses after threat detection, the Agentic AI-based platform autonomously handles the entire process—from anomaly detection and analysis to policy enforcement and threat mitigation. By learning internal processes and response histories, it orchestrates overall security operations in an integrated manner, enhancing both automation efficiency and operational control.
For example, it can implement JML (Joiner-Mover-Leaver) automation to manage user access rights in real time based on employee onboarding, role changes, or departures. By understanding natural language commands, the system can promptly reflect organizational changes, minimizing risks of insufficient or excessive access privileges.
In addition, tasks such as threat analysis, policy enforcement, and report generation can be automated 24/7 by Agentic AI, enabling organizations to address workforce shortages and reduce operational fatigue more effectively.
To achieve this, RaonSecure will contribute its security technologies—including policy data, operational workflows, and control systems—while Upstage will leverage its proprietary LLM, “Solar,” to handle decision-making and response execution. The combination of RaonSecure’s security expertise and advanced LLM capabilities will enable the realization of a practical, real-world AI-driven security system.
As a result, enterprise security teams will be able to reduce the burden of repetitive tasks and focus on strategic decision-making, such as policy design and risk management. This also lays the groundwork for adopting Agentic AI in real-world environments in a more secure and reliable manner.
Building on this collaboration, the two companies plan to expand across a wide range of industries. In addition to highly regulated sectors such as finance, public services, and defense, they aim to extend the application of this technology to telecommunications, platforms, commerce, healthcare, and manufacturing—industries that handle large volumes of user data.
Furthermore, the companies will provide Agentic AI-based security automation not only to large enterprises with dedicated security teams but also to mid-sized and small businesses with limited resources. By offering both packaged and customized solutions tailored to different environments, they aim to lower barriers to adoption.
■ Advancing Identity Verification for Agentic AI… Leading the Security Automation Ecosystem
RaonSecure and Upstage will also accelerate the development of “AAM (Agentic AI Management),” a framework designed to verify the identity and control the permissions of Agentic AI. AAM enables each AI agent to have a verifiable identity and clearly defined role scope, ensuring that it operates strictly within authorized permissions. This framework is built on RaonSecure’s blockchain-based Decentralized Identity (DID) technology, which has already been applied to Korea’s mobile ID system.
In the era of Physical AI—where robots, vehicles, and drones autonomously act in the real world—digital permissions directly translate into physical actions. As the number of Agentic AI systems increases, AAM is expected to become an essential technology, evolving beyond simple authentication into a core trust infrastructure that bridges both physical and digital domains.
Through this collaboration, RaonSecure aims to secure leadership in the Agentic AI security automation market while accelerating its transformation into an AI-driven digital trust infrastructure company. Upstage is also expected to strengthen its position in the enterprise market as its LLM proves its value in the high-impact domain of security.
In the mid- to long term, both companies plan to jointly explore new opportunities to enhance the value of AI across various industries, while continuing collaboration on joint business models and market expansion.
Taejin Kim, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of RaonSecure, stated, “As industries such as finance, manufacturing, and leisure transition to AI, Agentic AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making and response will become a new technological standard. Through our partnership with Upstage, we will build a trusted security environment where enterprises can collaborate safely with AI.”
